Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, coaching, and ensuring training is up-to-date.
• Assist in hiring by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger for special orders and outside purchases.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds use correct payment methods.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including secure money/deposits and bank deposits.
• Maintain store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
