Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role may involve shift management in the absence of leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Essential duties include leading a team to deliver exceptional service, supervising showroom standards, handling orders and transfers, processing returns and invoicing, and ensuring schedules and security procedures

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Able to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on showroom to include team execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure; use electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process retail returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods; stage returned merchandise appropriately.
• Invoicing for all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules; obtain approvals for deviations; clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures; manage money/deposits and bank deposits as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
