Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager in sales, service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management in the managers' absence. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and teamwork is essential.

Key duties include leading customer service, supervising showroom service programs, handling orders and transfers, managing returns and refunds, and ensuring secure opening/closing procedures and compliance with policy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts a plus.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge helpful.
• ASE Certification desirable.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and implement programs.
• Answer phones according to policy and process orders and transfers promptly.
• Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and payments correctly.
• Complete opening/closing duties, security checks, and banking procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
