Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Providence, RI is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, and store operations.

You will lead a team to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers, supervise showroom service levels, and handle opening/closing duties and cash procedures. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; ASE and RSS certifications are valued with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom including related service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and special orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately, using proper payment methods.
• Invoicing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Coordinate and delegate merchandising tasks and ensure adherence to work schedules.
• Perform daily opening/closing duties, including securing money and deposits, and locking up the store.
