Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Westerly, RI seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management duties in absence of store leadership.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, is bilingual encouraged, and brings retail or auto parts experience. A eligible RSS Certification may be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom, including execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods; stage merchandise properly.
• Invoicing all merchandise including core charges and warranties before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules; clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties: day-end procedures, banking, security, and vehicle security.
• All other duties as assigned.
