Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role may assume shift management responsibilities when managers are absent.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders timely and contact customers upon shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using proper payment methods.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties prior to leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including daily end procedures and bank deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
