Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

The position encourages bilingual candidates and values experienced team players who can handle daily store duties, process orders, and support a high-energy environment while delivering exceptional service to both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge preferred.
• ASE Certification desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels for the retail showroom.
• Handle store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
• Process buy online/ship to store orders and transfers.
• Ensure returns, refunds, and invoicing are handled efficiently.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
