Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may help with multilingual customer support. The position focuses on leading the team to deliver excellent service, handling in-store transactions, and ensuring policy-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge.
• ASE Certification desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders timely and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process retail returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returns.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures, manage deposits, and secure the store.
• All other duties as assigned.
