Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will also assume shift management in their absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position offers opportunities to lead store team members, manage customer service programs, and ensure efficient processing of orders, returns, and daily security routines.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders and notify customers as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds correctly.
• Invoice all merchandise before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and clock-in/out policies.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure money/deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
