Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of managers and encourages bilingual applicants.

The position emphasizes effective communication, team leadership, and adherence to company policies across day-to-day operations, including handling special orders, stock, and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification must be pursued.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge beneficial.
• ASE Certification a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to company programs.
• Oversee phone duties and timely processing of buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled efficiently with correct payments.
• Ensure invoicing, pricing and security procedures are followed; manage opening/closing duties and end-of-day processes.
