Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of managers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You will lead teams in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage phone calls, process online orders, returns, and exchanges, and perform opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team executes customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure with electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently, issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoicing of all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure team adherence to posted work schedules and clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, manage deposits, and secure the building.
• All other duties as assigned.
