Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may take shift management responsibilities in the absence of supervisors and encourages bilingual candidates.

You will lead the store team in delivering first-rate service to retail and professional customers, supervise service programs, and ensure accurate invoicing, timely transfers, and smooth day-end procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and drive programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure, using electronic ledger.
• Ensure returns are processed and refunds issued accurately with correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor adherence to posted work schedule and clock-in/out policies.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end money procedures; secure deposits and building."
• All other duties as assigned.
