Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in their absence, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading the team in customer service, handling store duties, and ensuring accurate processing of orders, returns, and invoicing while maintaining security and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise showroom customer service programs and team execution.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and store-to-store orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process retail returns and exchanges with refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and manage Image Maker merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to posted schedules and clock in/out correctly.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including cash handling and security.
• All other duties as assigned.
