Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and daily operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of supervisors and emphasizes bilingual communication to enhance customer interactions.

Ideal candidates bring automotive knowledge, ASE certification, and a proven track record in retail. The position offers comprehensive compensation and benefits aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Ensure returns are processed and refunds issued accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure money/deposits according to policy.
• All other duties as assigned.
