Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management when needed.

The ideal candidate will have retail auto parts experience, automotive knowledge, and ASE/RSS certifications; Spanish language skills are a plus. The position offers competitive wages, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company contributions, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and drive programs like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No.
• Answer telephone per policy and manage inquiries.
• Process BOP/ship-to-store, hub transfers and DC add orders promptly; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases; manage returns/exchanges; issue refunds with correct methods.
• Ensure invoicing of merchandise and core charges before product leaves store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and assign Image Maker/merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to schedules; clock in/out per policy; perform opening/closing procedures.
• Perform day end procedures, secure money/deposits, prepare bank deposits, and secure premises and vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
