Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of managers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading store team members to deliver excellent customer service, supervising service levels, processing orders and returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and duty compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required to lead store team members and interact with customers.
• RSS Certification is required to qualify for the role and support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure adherence to company programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure with electronic ledger.
• Process returns, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock-in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, money/deposits handling, bank deposits, security checks, and delivery vehicle security.
• All other duties as assigned.
