Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Automotive systems knowledge beneficial.
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and manage returned merchandise.
