Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will also assume shift management in the absence of managers.

You'll lead a team to deliver outstanding service to retail and professional customers, manage phone and on-site operations, and coordinate BOP/ship-to-store processes while maintaining security and schedules. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure program execution.
• Manage telephone calls according to company policy.
• Oversee buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges, issue refunds, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members adhere to posted schedules and clock-in/out properly.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
