Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of managers.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills required.
Ability to obtain RSS Certification or currently pursuing it.
Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
ASE Certification is a plus.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
Automotive systems and repair knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise telephone and service quality to ensure policy adherence.
Ensure all orders and transfers are processed promptly and customers are informed of shipment arrivals.
Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently and accurately.
Oversee daily opening/closing tasks, money handling, and security procedures.
Assist in shift management when managers are unavailable.
