Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in the absence of supervisors. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading customer service, managing daily store tasks, and ensuring efficient processing of orders, transfers, and returns within standard policies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members adhere to work schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, and secure the building.
• All other duties as assigned.
