Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support our Training Services Team. This remote role welcomes bilingual English and Spanish speakers to deliver outstanding service from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities include handling inbound calls and emails, updating records, and guiding learners and instructors toward resolution, with daytime shifts, steady production metrics, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities with difficult customers.
• Proficient in using computer applications to meet customer needs in a fast-paced home-based call center.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and email inquiries from learners, instructors, and organizations.
• Use information from computer systems to provide resolution and update records.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance and class information.
• Maintain daily production standards (AHT, calls/hour, emails/hour, quality).
• Triage complex problems and route callers to appropriate resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
