Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support our Training Services Team in a remote role across the United States. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

You will answer inbound calls and emails, perform account maintenance, meet production targets, and ensure follow-through to resolution while adhering to procedures and federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred.
• Skills & Abilities: Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication; ability to work with potentially difficult customers; proficient with computer applications in a fast-paced home-based call center.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound call and email inquiries from Training Services learners and instructors; provide resolution using information from computer systems and job aids.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance, class information, and usage issues.
• Maintain daily production standards (AHT, calls/hour, emails/hour, online time, quality).
• Triage complex problems and route callers accordingly; perform other related duties as assigned.
