Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support its Training Services Team in a remote, US-based role. You will handle inbound calls and emails from learners and instructors, resolve issues, and maintain accurate accounts while meeting performance targets.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills, and can work in a fast-paced home-based environment with reliable internet and a team

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year in customer service, sales, or call center preferred.
• Skills & Abilities: Excellent customer service, problem solving, strong communication; ability to work with potentially difficult customers; able to work in a fast-paced home-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and email inquiries from Training Services learners, instructors, and organizations.
• Use information from systems to resolve inquiries, update accounts, and document resolutions.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance and class information.
• Maintain daily production standards (AHT, Calls/Email per hour, etc.).
• Triage complex problems and route callers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
