Job summary

CSL Plasma in Houston seeks a friendly donor center assistant to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration procedures for the pheresis process. You will support screening and health checks, precision data entry, and ensure center safety and confidentiality.

Under SOPs, you may educate donors about therapeutic products, assist with donor flow, answer calls, and help maintain a clean, compliant environment. Bilingual skills may be required to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months experience in clerical or customer service position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma center and register them for the pheresis process.
• Assist donors with screening procedures following SOPs and perform basic health checks.
• Explain screening tests, appointment system, and center policies to donors as trained.
• Register applicants and transfer donors when needed based on training.
• Answer calls or transfer to appropriate staff; ensure donor questions are answered promptly.
• Monitor for donor reactions and notify staff; maintain safety and confidentiality.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system; maintain a clean work area.
• Cross-train in other areas and adapt to center needs; bilingual duties if required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
