Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a front-line donor center associate to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through screening steps. You will perform health screenings and document donor data in the center’s information system, adhering to SOPs and safety policies.

You’ll assist with registration, answer calls, and may educate donors on plasma-derived therapies while maintaining confidentiality and a clean work environment. Bilingual abilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process following SOPs, including health history, basic medical questions, and health screening procedures (BP, pulse, weight, temp).
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products from donated plasma and explain the screening process, health tests, appointment system, center policies, and nutrition.
• May register applicants and transfer donors based on training and center needs
• Answer telephone and direct callers to appropriate staff
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff as needed
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies and forms are available
• Maintain donor and center information confidentiality
• May cross-train in other areas
• Bilingual skills may be required
• Perform other duties as assigned
