CSL is seeking a donor screener at a plasma collection center in the United States. The role includes greeting donors, guiding them through registration and screening procedures, and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in donor data.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required, with health history assessment, finger-stick hematocrit testing, and basic medical questions handled per SOPs. Responsibilities also include donor education on plasma-derived products, coordinating with medical staff,

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Mansioni

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs: assess health history, answer basic medical questions, refer donors to medical staff, perform health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature), and perform finger stick for hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, including explaining the screening process, tests performed, appointment system, donation fees, center policies, nutrition and other information; answer donor questions timely and professionally.
• Register applicant and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer telephone and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor flow and alert Supervisor/Group Leader of issues; record donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure sufficient supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs; bilingual skills may be required at organization's discretion.
