Qualifications

• 0–2 years’ experience in a customer service position.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests, confirms identities, and provides necessary information related to their visit.
• Checks in and out patients as directed.
• Verifies and updates patient demographic and insurance information.
• Completes patient registration as needed and obtains consents/authorizations.
• Collects co-pays, past due balances and payments; posts payments and performs end-of-day cash closing.
