Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests upon arrival and confirm identity.
• Complete check-in and check-out functions as directed.
• Update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Complete patient registration as needed and obtain consents/authorizations.
• Collect co-payments and process payments at point of service.
• Post payments and perform end-of-day cash drawer closing.
• Keep waiting areas clean and comfortable.
• Inform patients of delays or changes in appointment status.
• Schedule appointments as necessary.
• May float to other departments as needed.
