Qualifications

• 1 year in healthcare, human services, or social services; or 2 years in customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service and commitment to service excellence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, navigate callers, and provide information and assistance.
• Schedule appointments for medical, behavioral health, and dental services; monitor schedules for errors/overbooking.
• Collect, verify, and document patient demographic, billing, and insurance data in the EHR.
• Screen and route calls; send detailed messages in the EHR as needed.
• Collect patient payments over the phone.
