Job summary

Qualifications

• One year customer service experience required; in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with electronic medical records and multi-phone lines preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors
• Schedules, reschedules, and confirms appointments in the scheduling system
• Assists with patient registration and verifies demographics and insurance
• Provides scheduling information and visit preparation instructions
• Coordinates with providers and clinical staff to optimize clinic flow
• Records patient payments and updates scheduling in EMR
