Job summary

Swissport in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Passenger Service Agent to provide passenger services such as reservations, ticketing, baggage handling, and check-in, directly supporting customers and airline partners.

The role requires excellent communication, a high school diploma, and bilingual English/Spanish, with responsibilities including assisting VIPs and passengers with special needs while ensuring compliance with security procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation.
• Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations.
• Manage passenger baggage processing including fee calculation if applicable.
• Assist passengers through arrival and check-in processes including support for passengers with special needs such as unaccompanied minors (UM), VIP passengers and wheelchair assistance.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine, as required.
• Make public address announcements as required.
• Assist Ramp Service Agents to ensure that wheelchairs, strollers and gate checked bags are loaded and delivered to passengers.
• Comply with all security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policies.
• Operate equipment including the jet way and reservation/ticketing software.
• Produce all required work-related documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
