Job Summary

As a Passenger Service Agent, you will provide comprehensive passenger and customer services as contracted by the customer, including reservations, ticketing, baggage processing, terminal/gate check‑in, jet‑way operation, greeting arriving passengers, handling VIPs, providing special assistance, and resolving customer complaints. The role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with an expected pay rate of $20.13/hr.

Note: This position requires proficiency in English and Spanish.

Your Activities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation
• Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations
• Manage passenger baggage processing, including handling and fee calculation
• Assist passengers through arrival and check‑in processes, supporting those with special needs such as unaccompanied minors, VIPs, and wheelchair assistance
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine as required
• Make public‑address announcements as needed
• Assist Ramp Service Agents with wheelchairs, strollers, and gate‑checked bags for loading and delivery
• Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policies
• Operate jet‑way, computer keyboards, and carrier‑specific reservation/ticketing software
• Produce all required work‑related documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your Profile

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Passionate about customer service with relevant work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the required language(s)
• Additional languages desirable
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently
• Attentive to detail and numerate
• Ability to follow processes and apply a flexible approach when required
• Proficiency in typing and learning airline specific reservation/ticketing software
• Willingness to work in inclement weather
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
