Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers seeks a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) to warmly greet patients, sign them in, collect insurance information, provide forms, process payments, and schedule appointments across our Texas clinics.

You will maintain patient records in our EMR, verify insurance eligibility, support patients with questions, and uphold UVVC's core values and HIPAA standards. Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred; prior medical front desk experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ECW a plus.
• Ability to handle fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and sign them in.
• Obtain insurance information and other necessary data.
• Provide intake and new patient forms and office policies.
• Process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments and maintain EMR files.
• Audit schedule for insurance eligibility and patient data.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Support and guide patients as needed.
