Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Installer Service Specialist who combines technical parts knowledge with customer service at the installer counter. This role oversees the daily activity of the delivery team to ensure accurate and timely order deliveries for professional customers.

You'll work with installers and Territory Sales Managers to develop relationships, take orders by phone and online, and verify warranties and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanics.
• Above average communication skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Work with installers/professional customers to develop sales relationships.
• Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, and direct parts to delivery.
• Route delivery specialists to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
• Ensure vehicle inspections are completed on time and daily mileages are entered.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service.
• Verify all product/merchandise, including warranties, are billed before customers leave.
• Ensure returns are picked up and credited promptly.
• Audit returns for warranty abuse and labeling correctness.
• Assist on front and retail counters as needed.
• Support backroom duties (auto-load, returns, stock) as needed.
• Assist with customer labor claims to ensure quick processing.
• All other duties as assigned.
