Job summary
Real Floors is seeking a Bilingual Flooring Installation Manager to oversee subcontractor work orders, QA, and project coordination on-site in Houston. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish, with focus on recruitment, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of flooring projects.
The Installation Manager will collaborate with HR and internal teams to address issues, review payroll, and maintain quality warranties, while supporting the installation department and driving
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish for effective communication.
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting subcontractors and assigning work efficiently.
- Experience with flooring products or installation is valued.
- Proficiency with computer-based tools (Google Drive, Gmail, MS Office).
Responsibilities
- Assess flooring issues and determine labor charges while upholding quality standards.
- Create and implement recruitment strategies to grow the local subcontractor pool.
- Assign work orders to subcontractors and coordinate timely project completion.
- Maintain documentation and review payroll sheets; perform data entry.
- Ensure warranty compliance and resolve on-site issues with subcontractors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise installation staff and support performance and development.
- Address issues from previous days' work orders through proactive discussions.
- Negotiate subcontractor labor rates to control costs.
- Coordinate with HR on performance reviews, onboarding, and related matters.
