Job summary

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Installation Scheduling Coordinator to review daily schedules and assign installation crews by expertise and availability. The role requires English/Spanish fluency, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will liaise with installers, plan logistics, ensure documentation, and support warehouse operations including forklift use.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong knowledge of flooring materials and installation processes desirable.
• Experience with office management systems, customer service procedures.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with installers to ensure understanding of job specifications and requirements.
• Schedule work to meet contractor's needs.
• Coordinate installation follow-up visits for repairs and warranty issues.
• Ensure documentation is complete and entered accurately into company systems.
• Note changes and additions to customer orders as needed.
• Address customer concerns and escalate as necessary for satisfaction.
• Assist with daily warehouse functions including receiving, loading out installers, and use of a sit-down forklift.

The Installation Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for reviewing all scheduled jobs each day and assigning contracted installation crews for work according to their areas of expertise and availability. A strong working knowledge of flooring materials and techniques for proper flooring installation is preferred, but not required. Must be able to communicate with individuals who speak a variety of languages. English/Spanish fluency is required. Computer skills and customer service admin skills are a must; ability to function in high volume, high velocity work environment is critical.

This associate will have some warehouse and admin responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with installers to ensure clear understanding of job specifications and installation requirements to maintain high quality job standards
• Schedule work to meet contractor's needs
• Coordinate and schedule installation follow-up visits as necessary for repairs, corrections and warranty issues
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and enters appropriate data into company systems accurately and on time
• Note changes and additions to customer orders as needed
• Address customer concerns and issues, escalating them as necessary for job completion and customer satisfaction
• Assists with the daily warehouse functions of receiving, loading out installers, and use of a sit down forklift
