Job summary

Lukos LLC in Winnfield, LA seeks a Social Worker/Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees and staff at designated facilities. The role focuses on responsive support to victims, trauma, sexual abuse and assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and medical and mental health care.

The duty location is a designated ICE detention facility or ICE office. The CRC will assist with daily duties and provide services to detainees and staff, including language interpretation and case

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology from an accredited program.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs, requests, and complaints.
• Assist ERO officers with parent/child communication and/or child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations and follow-up with detention facilities upon submission of Disability Accommodation Notification to HQ.
• Provide language interpretation for facility and ERO staff and detained noncitizens.
• Assist ERO Field Offices in removal planning for noncitizens with vulnerabilities and in general population.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database of resources for CRC and ERO use.
