Job summary

Lukos seeks a Social Worker/Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees in Anson, TX, coordinating custody and removal planning, trauma-informed services, and victim support.

The role interfaces with ERO and detention facilities, provides language interpretation, disability accommodations, and maintains a resource database for CRC/ERO use. Must have a bachelor's in social work or psychology and be fluent in English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master's degree or an equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist with needs, requests and complaints from detained noncitizens and coordinate referrals.
• Support ERO staff with parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Provide language interpretation and coordinate disability accommodations.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database for CRC/ERO use.
