Sherwin-Williams in Northbrook, IL is hiring a Full-Time Customer Service Specialist to assist wholesale and retail customers, answer product questions, and recommend solutions. The role involves processing transactions, stocking, and supporting store sales goals with travel to nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal candidates must meet performance expectations and HR Cloud requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and per policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products as needed to customer specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest improvements to sales.
