Wider Circle seeks a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist in Lancaster, PA (Reading and York considered) to lead Connect For Life, a program that connects neighbors for better health and shared well-being. The role emphasizes empathy, trust-building, and engaging members through events, home visits, and outreach.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation preferred.
• Pennsylvania Community Health Worker Certificate strongly preferred.
• Associate's degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program, build trust and promote health.
• Plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships.
• Proactively contact members and conduct one-on-one home visits.
• Record member interactions and engagement in online systems.
• Identify natural leaders and invite them to serve as Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Develop personalized outreach plans to enroll new members in the program.
• Serve as a liaison connecting members to health plans and services.
• Monitor engagement metrics and report on attendance and outcomes.
• Conduct in-home visits and outreach to reach hard-to-connect members.
• Meet flexibility needs and travel as required.
