Job summary

Wider Circle in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist to lead Connect For Life, our neighbor-to-neighbor health initiative. You will run events, host both virtual and in-person gatherings, and build a trusted network of members.

This role emphasizes one-on-one outreach, home visits, and monthly engagement, with a focus on English/Spanish communication, community leadership, and coordinating with health plans to close care gaps.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required; strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation.
• Ability to travel 20–50 miles for home visits and events.
• Experience building large community networks (500+ members).
• Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program, building trust and promoting health.
• Plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships.
• Proactively contact members and conduct home visits and monthly engagement.
• Document interactions and track hours in Wider Circle systems.
• Identify natural leaders and recruit Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Coordinate with health plans and assist members with care gaps.
