Job summary

Wider Circle is seeking a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist to lead Connect For Life in Lancaster, PA, with Reading and York considered. You will orchestrate events, engage members, and drive health-focused connections in a flexible, community-driven role.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in outreach or facilitation and a PA Community Health Worker Certificate preferred. Associate's degree is preferred, with substantial experience possibly substituting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• 3+ years in outreach, teaching, or facilitation.
• Pennsylvania Community Health Worker Certificate preferred.
• Associate's degree preferred; 5+ years may substitute.
• Reliable transportation for home visits; travel up to 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program and build trust.
• Plan and host virtual and in-person events.
• Proactively engage members and conduct home visits.
• Document interactions in Wider Circle systems.
• Identify and develop Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Reach out to potential members and enroll them.
• Coordinate with health plans and providers.
• Track attendance and engagement metrics.
• Work remotely when needed with accountability.
• Home canvassing to reach hard-to-connect members.
