Wider Circle is seeking a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist to lead Connect For Life in Charleston, WV and neighboring areas. You will plan and host events, engage members both in groups and one-on-one visits, and build a network to improve health outcomes while reducing care gaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation strongly preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Program Leadership: Lead the Connect For Life program, building trust and promoting health through events and community activities.
• Event Planning and Hosting: Strategically plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships and wellness.
• Member Engagement: Proactively contact members, ensure participation, conduct home visits, and support monthly engagement.
• Documentation: Record member interactions in Wider Circle’s digital systems for tracking and reporting.
• Leadership Identification: Identify natural leaders and invite them to be Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Prospective Member Outreach: Develop personalized plans to enroll new members in Connect For Life.
• Liaison and Partnerships: Connect members to health plans and to each other, support care needs.
• Accountability: Track engagement, attendance, and growth metrics; manage hours in a remote setting.
• Additional Responsibilities: May include home canvassing and other location-based duties as needed.
