Job summary

Wider Circle is seeking a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist to lead Connect for Life in Lancaster, PA (Reading/York also considered). You will host events, perform home visits, and contact members to boost engagement and health outcomes.

Role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong outreach skills, and travel within a 20–50 mile radius. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in community outreach, healthcare experience are a plus, and an Associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Community Health Worker Certificate preferred.
• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• Associate degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation for home visits and travel 20–50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program, using Wider Circle’s curriculum to build trust and promote health.
• Plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships and wellbeing.
• Proactively contact members, conduct one-on-one home visits, and drive monthly engagement.
• Record member interactions and attendance in Wider Circle’s online systems for tracking and reporting.
• Identify natural leaders and invite them to serve as Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Develop personalized plans to enroll potential members in Connect For Life via phone, in person, or at events.
• Serve as a liaison connecting members to health plans and to each other; help with care gaps.
