Wider Circle is seeking a bilingual Community Engagement Specialist to lead the Connect For Life program in Lancaster, PA, with Reading and York considered for outreach. The role focuses on in-person events, home visits, and phone outreach to connect neighbors for better health and stronger community bonds.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in community outreach, a preferred Associate's degree, and a Pennsylvania Community Health Worker Certificate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation.
• Pennsylvania Community Health Worker Certificate strongly preferred.
• Associate's degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program, building trust and promoting health.
• Plan, host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships and wellness.
• Proactively contact members, conduct home visits, and drive monthly engagement.
• Record member interactions and outcomes in Wider Circle systems for reporting.
• Identify natural leaders and invite them to become Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Develop personalized outreach plans to enroll new members in Connect For Life.
