Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is hiring a bilingual Billing Customer Service Representative to assist members with bill balances, payment plans, and insurance interactions. The role involves handling 50–70 calls daily, navigating billing systems, and resolving complex issues with empathy.

Training spans several weeks, then a nationwide call center schedule within 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET. The position offers full-time hours (40 per week) with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
• 2+ years in a call center handling high-volume calls.
• 2+ years in healthcare setting analyzing and resolving concerns.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing/finance and eligibility processes.
• Able to translate healthcare jargon into simple steps for customers.
• Proficient with computers and Windows applications.
• Able to work nine-hour shifts Mon-Fri between 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM ET.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls from patients or their representatives about bill balances and payment plans.
• Evaluate and respond to billing inquiries, including invoices and insurance interactions.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex billing issues and complaints.
• Navigate the Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain a log of all patient contacts and outcomes.
• Possibly take on additional projects as needed and comply with HIPAA rules.
