Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a bilingual Customer Service Representative II to support billing inquiries from patients and representatives. The role requires handling up to 70 calls daily and translating healthcare terminology into clear guidance, with a focus on resolving complex billing issues.

Training is full-time, followed by a fixed 9-hour shift schedule between 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM ET. A base pay of $20+ per hour with potential performance bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual English and Spanish.
• 1+ years of call center experience handling high volume inbound calls.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical office/health care setting analyzing and resolving health care concerns.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing/finance and eligibility processes.
• Proficient in translating health care jargon into simple instructions.
• Able to work 9-hour shifts between 8:30 AM–8:00 PM ET.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls from patients or their representatives, translating medical terminology into easy-to-understand information.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints.
• Thorough navigation of the Quest Billing System and other applicable applications
• Maintain tracking log of all patient contacts
• Perform additional projects or tasks based on business need
• Maintain all compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times
