Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Billing Customer Service Representative II who is bilingual (English/Spanish) to assist members with billing information and healthcare plan explanations. You will handle up to 70 calls daily, provide empathetic support, and help resolve escalated issues within a 40-hour workweek.

Training is full-time, with shifts between 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM ET. After training, you’ll receive a fixed 9-hour shift and may be eligible for a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a high-volume call center.
• Experience in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to translate medical terminology into plain language.
• Proficient using Windows PC applications and basic systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume calls from patients or representatives regarding billing inquiries.
• Research and troubleshoot complex billing issues to achieve full resolution.
• Navigate Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain a log of all patient contacts.
• Take on additional tasks based on business needs.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
