Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Billing Customer Service Representative to support members with billing questions and guidance, handling up to 70 calls daily. The role emphasizes empathy, clear explanations, and resolution on health care billing issues. Training is full-time with a 9-hour daily shift during business hours.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual, English and Spanish.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of experience working in a call center handling a high volume of inbound calls.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or health care setting analyzing and resolving customer health care concerns.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls from patients or their representatives, evaluating and responding to all aspects of billing inquiries.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints with full resolution.
• Navigate the Quest Billing System and other applications.
• Maintain tracking log of all patient contacts.
• Support additional projects or tasks as needed while upholding HIPAA compliance.
