Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Billing Customer Service Representative to assist members with billing questions and payment plans. You will handle 50–70 calls daily with empathy, aiming to resolve issues and guide patients to the right care.

Training lasts 90 days, with a full-time 40-hour schedule and shifts from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM ET. Role requires bilingual English/Spanish, healthcare billing familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required to assist a diverse member base.
• 2+ years in a high-volume call center handling inbound calls.
• Experience in medical billing or health care settings preferred.
• Able to translate healthcare jargon into simple, clear steps.
• Proficient with Windows PC applications and basic software.
• Commitment to full-time attendance during 90-day training.
• Strong listening, rapport-building and conflict-management skills.
• 18+ years old and able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls regarding patient bill balances and payment plans.
• Evaluate and respond to all billing inquiries and update invoices.
• Research and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints.
• Navigate Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain a log of all patient contacts and outcomes.
• Contribute to additional projects as needed and comply with HIPAA.
